Benefits of becoming a Performance Testing United (PtU) Recognized Training Provider:

You are listed on the PtU United website

You receive marketing materials and the ability to use the PtU logo in association with your courses

You have access to the latest updates.

You are recommended to clients who request oficial training from PtU in your region

There are 3 main steps to becoming a PtU Recognized Training Provider:

Trainers are PtU Certified for the course you wish to get recognized for

Validation of the training materials so that they cover the PtU curriculum for which you want to be recognized

Signature of the Recognition agreement with Performance Testing United and payment of the recognition fee. ​

Step 1: (Trainers)
An evaluation form shall be filled out by each trainer that the training provider wishes to have recognized. All trainers must be PtU certified before they can teach a Performance Testing United course. The Train-The-Trainer courses are strongly recommended to future trainers*.

*The PtU Committee reserves the right to evaluate any exceptions on this point.
Step 2: (Materials)
The official PtU Materials can be licensed directly from PtU. However, PtU training providers are not required to use these official materials to offer PtU courses. If you confirm that you have materials, which encompass the full syllabus of the Certified Performance Tester with JMeter (CPTJM) course, you can use these as well. Confirmation of the materials must be requested from PtU and has an associated review cost that will be informed in due course.
Performance Testing United will run some quality checks and if the pass rates of a trainer’s students are less than average, the trainer may be required to attend a Train-The-Trainer session with a Performance Testing United Master Trainer.
The official PtU Training Materials include:

Training Slides in a digital format.

A complete 40-question sample exam built on the same format as the official exam but with different questions. The answers and explanations are included separately, so that the instructor can discuss them with students in an interactive way.

Practical hands-on exercises.

Support notes for the instructor.

Step 3: (Agreement & Payment)
Performance Testing United has a standards agreement which shall be signed by any party wishing to offer PtU United courses.
The cost of being a recognized PtU Training Provider is:

500€ per year
-
900€ for 2 years
-
1,200€ for 3 years
