About us
Performance testing is the testing practice performed to determine how a system performs in terms of responsiveness and stability under a particular workload. It is one of the quality controls implemented by software quality professionals to help ensure maintain consistent working conditions of a platform, object, application or tool. With increasing demands and requirements being placed on the software products and projects, PtU aims to help pave the path to a global standard in this area of expertise.
Meet the creators of PtU
Guillermo Skrilec
Guillermo is the head of Software Quality at GeneXus Consulting and the founder of QAlified, a spin-off specialized in technical software testing and consultancy. With more than 12 years of experience in software development projects, he has a strong background in technical testing and defining strategies to build better software. His experience spans many companies in diverse industries including IT, Finance, Health and Government. He also provides advice and training in testing to different non-profit foundations, and is co-organizer of TestingUy community in Uruguay. Guillermo has a MBA and holds a System Engineer degree.
Delvis Echeverria
Delvis is a Computer Engineer and Master in Software Quality from the Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas (UCI) in Havana, Cuba. He founded SQA Advisory in 2017, where he currently works as a Performance Test Engineer and offers trainings, among others in his role as Master Trainer and PtU creator. He has been focusing on his role of Performance Test Engineer since 2010, after working as a Professor at UCI, as a Senior Software Testing Specialist, at the National Software Quality Center, as Performance Test Manager and then as Head of the Software Test Engineering Group at GeneXus Consulting. He currently lives in Florida, USA, where he works as a QA Engineer at FieldEdge.
